We believe that surviving a difficult season is just the beginning. Every woman deserves the chance to heal, rebuild her confidence, reclaim her voice, and create a life grounded in safety, stability, and purpose. At the There She Glow Foundation, our mission focuses on the whole woman—not merely the crisis she has faced. Through domestic violence advocacy, financial literacy for women, education, resources, and community healing-centered initiatives, we empower mothers to move forward while strengthening the relationships that matter most. We are particularly passionate about the bond between mothers and daughters. As a mother begins her journey of healing and recognizes her own worth, her daughter witnesses a powerful transformation: that challenging circumstances do not have to dictate the course of her life. We are committed to creating pathways from survival to women healing and empowerment, and from empowerment to possibility. Our vision extends beyond crisis intervention; we envision a future where women and girls are not just surviving—they are thriving. A future where mothers receive the support they need rather than feeling isolated. A future where daughters grow up understanding their worth, where healthy relationships are both modeled and grasped. We're dedicated to ensuring that women have the resources and confidence to rebuild, knowing that one woman's healing can transform what is possible for the generations that follow.
There She Glow Foundation currently serves the Los Angeles community, with a vision to expand our reach and impact as we grow.

Heather Cuevas
Founder & President, There She Glow Foundation
Heather Cuevas is the Founder and President of There She Glow Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to domestic violence advocacy and empowering mothers and daughters as they navigate the challenges associated with domestic violence and family-court injustices. The foundation's mission is to create pathways toward healing, stability, and resilience for those affected.
Rooted in the belief that all women and children deserve to be heard, protected, and supported during their most challenging seasons, Heather's work significantly contributes to women healing and empowerment.
Through There She Glow Foundation, Heather is committed to providing support for mothers, helping them rebuild their confidence and reclaim their voices. She emphasizes the importance of financial literacy for women, ensuring that they can access necessary resources to move forward. Heather is particularly passionate about strengthening the mother-daughter bond, helping girls understand their worth, recognize healthy relationships, and acknowledge that their voices matter.
Bringing a survivor-centered perspective to her advocacy, Heather focuses on illuminating the gaps in support systems that can leave families feeling unheard. Rather than allowing her own difficult experiences to define her, she has transformed them into a mission: to help other women glow again.
Heather's vision for There She Glow Foundation goes beyond crisis intervention; it encompasses restoration, empowerment, education, and advocacy, building a future in which women and girls not only survive but thrive.
There She Glow serves as a powerful reminder that even after the darkest seasons, a woman can rediscover her light and, in doing so, inspire another woman to find hers.

Our 10-week rebuilding and stability program for women is a vital component of There She Glow Foundation’s commitment to domestic violence advocacy. She Glows Again is our flagship program aimed at empowering women as they rebuild their stability, confidence, and independence after facing challenging or destabilizing life circumstances.
This supportive 10-week experience equips participants with practical tools, resources, and connections to help them move forward. Rebuilding is not merely about surviving past experiences; it’s about envisioning a brighter future.
The program focuses on four essential areas:
1. Financial Literacy for Women — Participants enhance their financial knowledge, strengthen money management skills, understand credit, and formulate a plan for achieving greater financial independence.
2. Support for Mothers — We connect women with trusted community resources, including assistance for mothers, housing, legal services, employment opportunities, education, and other vital needs.
3. Women Healing and Empowerment — This segment fosters personal growth, cultivates confidence, and emphasizes goal-setting while promoting a strong support system.
4. Future Building — Here, we assist women in identifying their goals and developing actionable steps toward a more stable and empowered future.
At There She Glow Foundation, our mission is clear: to help women progress from mere survival to true rebuilding, reminding every woman that she can glow again.
